Abantro environment

When we approach the mount from Abantro, the views are spectacular. For people who doesn't enjoy walking exists the possibility of riding a horse, a mountain bike or even a suv.

In the Parque de Redes, besides highlighting the flora, we have to make an special mention about the fauna, very plenty in these places. A few meters far from the town we can see free wild animals (deers, roes, boars, foxes...) as well as horses and cattle. If we go further we could see chamois. The Parque de Redes is famous for his huntings, and about fishing, in the Alto Nalón river we have salmons and trouts, which can be seen through the clear water.

Abantro is situated right in the Parque de Redes, which allows the visitor to be in near contact with the nature and to admire and enjoy the wide and green landscapes of the place.

- There are several hiking trails where we can perceive other council terrotories (Piloña, Sobrescobio, Ponga, Aller).- There is the possibility of doing routes riding a horse, with mountain bike or even with suv.- A few meters far from the town we can see free wild animals (deers, roes, boars, foxes...) as well as horses and cattle.
