Redes Natural Park
The Redes Natural Park has a extension of 377.36 km2, mainly covered by beech trees forests, the most charasteristic vegetal specie from the Park. In total, the beech trees occupy 3/4 of the Park surface, and with the rest of forests and prairies, it is an unsurpassable habitat for multiple species, some of them like the capercaillie.
All of this crossed by a principal artery, the Nalón river, one of the most important rivers in the region, which at his pass of these places, year after year, has draw an spectacular landscape that we can contemplate today.
